The Annual Giving Campaign (AGC) is an opportunity to donate money and literally watch the positive impact your money has on your children’s and their friends’ education. Through our commitment to providing classroom enhancements such as greening initiatives, arts and science programs and technology purchases, or the once-in-a-generation projects like the current schoolyard revitalization, we have helped to improve many aspects of their day at school.
An overwhelming resentment of parents having to fundraise, with door-to-door selling of small goods like magazines and chocolates, led to the AGC. This, along with the Silent Auction and the Fun Fair, are our three big fundraising opportunities of the year. All donations are appreciated; but this is the only one you get a tax receipt for $25 and above!
The AGC is a way that families can give back to the school if they are not able to volunteer their time. We all do and give what we can, and that’s what makes us such a fantastic community! So, next steps:
1) Write a cheque to Withrow Home and School Association and put it back in this very envelope provided to you. There will be a big red lock box in the office where you can drop the cheque.
2) An e-transfer to email@example.com and it is also a time saver. PayPal takes a large percentage, why not adapt we say! Help us save money on this campaign and send an e-transfer. Please make your password answer be “withrow” (no caps).
Thank you all for your donations. Every little bit counts. Just think, if each family gave $10 per child that would be approximately $5800 for our kids. How about $20, now we are talking… that would be over $10,000. The campaign will run until Nov. 21st. Thank you for reading!
